Latest review:Extensions-We hired Phil and his team after receiving a few different quotes. We were swayed by the qualifications and previous jobs/reviews about Activate Construction. We are so impressed with the work that Phil and his team undertook for us-a first storey extension above an existing ground floor extension. Our original plans had been drawn up, however Phil’s expertise in the area led him to suggest another configuration which enabled us to add an extra bedroom as well as relocating our bathroom upstairs. We did hit a few snags and issues, however, all these were dealt with and sorted by Phil and his team quickly and efficiently. All the workers involved were professional, polite, hard working and very knowledgeable. We also asked Phil to create a decking area in our garden after our extension had been finished. We would highly recommend Phil and Activate Construction for any building work and would use them again in the future!

Latest review:Extensions-The contracking company wreaked my drive by putting all the bricks & rubble onto the drive using only a thin piece of material, they then got a lorry with a grabber to get rubbish off drive with scratched all the block paving and ruined it , he said he would replace it for us but unfortunately he didn't put back like for like & put blocks that were 10ml thiner than the ones that were taken up , he didn't wack them in properly around the edges & when we put our car on the drive for one night they cracked , I told him I wanted like for like & he said no they are fine & if we weren't happy take him to court , also he then took the chippie off site & left us without a kitchen, we have been without a kitchen for 10 weeks because he was so behind schedule as he should have finished on 29th April, he also hasn't put my back garden back to how it was before he came , he doesn't communicate & we were left days not knowing if anyone was coming most weeks they only worked 3 to 4 days & for two weeks only 1 day each week , I thought that the builders on your site would have been ok but how wrong was I & i will definitely not be recommending that anyone uses them

Latest review:Tiling-Kieran did an awesome job of both enlarging my loft hatch, fitting a loft ladder and both tiling and flooring my bathroom. He is super helpful and a really nice guy who will always do his utmost to make sure the client is happy. Kieran has also done work for two of my neighbours who can't speak highly enough of his work. I can recommend KVC 100% and will definitely be using Kieran again in the future!

We are now trading under the name of Orange Grove Construction and in this present climate have been very busy with continuous work ranging from extensions to renovating/loft conversions, kitchen fitting, bathroom fitting, wall and floor tiling, plastering and rendering, U.P.V.C, basement conversions, conservotories, fencing, garden walls, patio laying, fascia and soffits and guttering. When we set out, we only advertised for one month to pick up work, the rest of the work came in from word of mouth.
Latest review:Conversions - General-Dave Phillips was brilliant. Friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. He converted our garage into living space, always solving the small problems builders face as they make progress. He has a really good network of reliable specialists for electrical, plastering...etc, all of whom he has known for decades. A perfect example of excellent small business. I have already recommended him to our friends and family, as a result he has lots of new business keeping him busy. Our friend's house needed full refurb, some very serious work, and Dave was available on the phone 24/7 when not at their house. As soon as we can afford to do more work on the house, Dave will be our first choice builder, in fact, we will wait until he is available to do any future work on our property.
Very pleased with the work completed. Aaron and his apprentice Gareth arrived on time and were very pleasant and respectful throughout the whole process. Aaron allowed us time to talk things through when needed which was very helpful. They both worked quietly, efficiently and their work was very neat. Aaron was also very knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions asked. The price was competitively priced and well worth the money. Would definitely recommend.
