Latest review:Conversions - General-By far the best builders I have come across. I needed a wall knocking down and a whole room plastered including a new window to be installed. They complete this within a week and there was little to no mess. They maintained the highest standards. i’d highly recommend. will definitely be using them again in the future.

Scott was a really pleasant person to deal with. Excellent communication skills and whilst a few other tradespeople had us down with quotes Scott made a date and time to view the job and stuck to his word. The work was carried out to a high standard and the site was kept clean and tidy. He also made a few recommendations on other things that might need doing and we will be sure to use him again. Latest review:Conversions - General-Phillip gave me an accurate and fair quote at the start and having agreed the job he provided a detailed schedule of work and payments. He organised Building Control too, and sorted all the admin side for me. He's NVQ level 6 in building so he has detailed knowledge of all rules and regs. The work itself was carried out professionally and organised as we agreed, without unnecessary hold-ups and my job, a rear extension, was wrapped up in about 4 months over the autumn/winter. I'm pleased with the high standard of the work and the boys on the job were easy to get on with. Phillip can be trusted to do the work properly as he is concerned with continuity of jobs in the area and wishes to retain his good reputation. If you take him on for the job, no worries!

Latest review:Conversions - General-I would very highly recommend Wooden Artefact. Certainly best experience of building work I've ever had by some considerable margin. They completely removed a first-floor bathroom which was falling apart, rearranged walls/ceilings/doors and installed new bathroom + cloakroom, in a little over 2 weeks. I could not be more impressed by the results and the whole process was managed with a very high standard of professionalism throughout and outstanding attention to detail. All tradespeople on site throughout the project were similarly excellent. I had fairly specific requirements around design, materials etc and Radek worked with these without any fuss whatsoever whilst his advice and input made the result better than I had anticipated. As is always the case with building work, there were some unexpected events but these were all dealt with without any changes to either cost or timescale so I paid exactly what I expected to pay and the work was completed exactly when I was expecting it to be completed, and as I say the end result is better than I was originally hoping for. I would recommend Wooden Artefact very highly to anyone, they would definitely be the first people I'd go to in future about any building work.

Latest review:Conversions - General-Anthony completed our kitchen rebuild/fitting to an amazingly high standard. The project included bricking up our back door, knocking out a supporting wall, retiling, electrics and a kitchen install. Anthony oversaw the entire project, co-ordinating the different trades within the team, whilst also undertaking the bulk of the work. Anthony had a very high attention to detail, solved problems that arose and worked tirelessly to get the project to completion within the required timeframe. He attended on weekends when needed for the project to stay on time and was always contactable if there were any issues. Anthony provided us with a quote for all of the work, we discussed any additional work that was required and knew the costings as we went along so no unexpected surprises at the end. I would recommend Anthony highly and would contact him for any other work that we needed doing in the future.

Latest review:Conversions - General-I can’t recommend Karl and Rhys highly enough. They did a great job on converting a bedroom into a separate office and upstairs bathroom. They arrived promptly every morning and were hard working and diligent all through the conversion. They guys were really helpful and pleasant to have around and cleaned up every evening before they left. The outcome was better than I could possibly hope for and they even worked the bank holiday Friday to make sure the job was completed on time as promised. I will certainly be using them again in the future for any further work required.

We are now trading under the name of Orange Grove Construction and in this present climate have been very busy with continuous work ranging from extensions to renovating/loft conversions, kitchen fitting, bathroom fitting, wall and floor tiling, plastering and rendering, U.P.V.C, basement conversions, conservotories, fencing, garden walls, patio laying, fascia and soffits and guttering. When we set out, we only advertised for one month to pick up work, the rest of the work came in from word of mouth.
Latest review:Conversions - General-Dave Phillips was brilliant. Friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. He converted our garage into living space, always solving the small problems builders face as they make progress. He has a really good network of reliable specialists for electrical, plastering...etc, all of whom he has known for decades. A perfect example of excellent small business. I have already recommended him to our friends and family, as a result he has lots of new business keeping him busy. Our friend's house needed full refurb, some very serious work, and Dave was available on the phone 24/7 when not at their house. As soon as we can afford to do more work on the house, Dave will be our first choice builder, in fact, we will wait until he is available to do any future work on our property.
