Latest review:Extensions-We hired Phil and his team after receiving a few different quotes. We were swayed by the qualifications and previous jobs/reviews about Activate Construction. We are so impressed with the work that Phil and his team undertook for us-a first storey extension above an existing ground floor extension. Our original plans had been drawn up, however Phil’s expertise in the area led him to suggest another configuration which enabled us to add an extra bedroom as well as relocating our bathroom upstairs. We did hit a few snags and issues, however, all these were dealt with and sorted by Phil and his team quickly and efficiently. All the workers involved were professional, polite, hard working and very knowledgeable. We also asked Phil to create a decking area in our garden after our extension had been finished. We would highly recommend Phil and Activate Construction for any building work and would use them again in the future!

We have a variety of in-house trades available such as bricklayers, plumbers, electricians, plasterers, carpenters, ground workers and plant operators so we are well equipped to take on any size job.
Latest review:Extensions-The contracking company wreaked my drive by putting all the bricks & rubble onto the drive using only a thin piece of material, they then got a lorry with a grabber to get rubbish off drive with scratched all the block paving and ruined it , he said he would replace it for us but unfortunately he didn't put back like for like & put blocks that were 10ml thiner than the ones that were taken up , he didn't wack them in properly around the edges & when we put our car on the drive for one night they cracked , I told him I wanted like for like & he said no they are fine & if we weren't happy take him to court , also he then took the chippie off site & left us without a kitchen, we have been without a kitchen for 10 weeks because he was so behind schedule as he should have finished on 29th April, he also hasn't put my back garden back to how it was before he came , he doesn't communicate & we were left days not knowing if anyone was coming most weeks they only worked 3 to 4 days & for two weeks only 1 day each week , I thought that the builders on your site would have been ok but how wrong was I & i will definitely not be recommending that anyone uses them

Rating: 5 out of 5 557 reviewsLiving room walls and ceiling plastered. Communication leading up to the job and during was great. Richard was great to deal with. Started first day and arrived early which is always a good sign. I went away for a few days whilst work being done and Richard kept me informed and sent through pictures and video. Really, really pleased with finish and can’t wait for it to dry out now. Cleaned up once finished too. Richard to come back to finish off once other works done and this hasn’t been a problem with him either. Would definitely recommend.
