He built us a new patio. We have a gazebo and he agreed to move it and put it back on the new patio. At the end of the job he left without moving it back. He asked for full payment then, and said he’d never agreed to move the gazebo and it wasn’t part of the job. It turned quite unpleasant so I paid someone else to do it. He also left quite a lot of dust on the drive and on the patio furniture.

Great builder - I can whole heartedly recommend David Symes. The project was an extensive garage rebuild with retaining wall. This entailed following detailed structural plans, steps, groundworks with a pitched roof and Velux – all of which was accomplished with huge skill, attention to detail and good humour. Unlike many other builders who jump from job- to- job David and Axe were on site, every day, all day, always ready to answer customer questions. This led to a stress-free build. I’ve had to give out his details to several neighbours who have been watching the project (which is the best recommendation of all!). I'm extremely pleased I decided to go with local builder – five stars!

Single storey rear kitchen extension - really pleased with the new kitchen. Yuri and his men built the extension and did all of the ground work too and then fitted the kitchen for me. As my existing kitchen plus the new kitchen extension together, is a very unusual shape, the fitting of the new units and appliances would have stumped most builders or kitchen fitters and I know that it was a very difficult job but Yuri fitted everything really well and kept his sense of humour at the same time.

What an amazing couple of guys, Sean and Graham. Along with their team, they remained professional, polite and extremely friendly. They listen to the customer and their ideas and will make suggestions which you can agree or disagree. All the trades involved in this build were highly skilled professionals with high standards of workmanship. They have just completed a timber frame extension with windows and skylight; completed within time frame, relaying the patio to the exterior. At all times they kept the site neat and tidy, removing rubbish at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend MK Developments for any work in the future. Thank you so much Sean and Graham.
