From initial talks to finishing touches Jason and his team were as professional as they come. We were probably one of the more fortunate homeowners in terms of complications with our project but whenever anything did surface Jason had such a reassuring and confident number of solutions of how to go about moving forward, always listening to our needs and making the designs perfect. A true problem solver not a problem maker! I will most certainly be contacting Jason for any future projects that my wife and I may have planned and cannot praise him enough for putting the final and finishing piece of the puzzle that is our new home. We cannot recommend him enough and for those contacting him in the future, he takes his tea with milk and one sugar!

Get in touchI had several contractors visit and price my extension project, but Alan was the only one who had clearly ‘done his homework’ and was prepared to provide a ‘Fixed Price Quote’ for the job. The job started when agreed and the guys just kept turning up every day until it was completed, several months later. (They start promptly at 8am and don’t leave until 5pm, and ensure the site is left safe and tidy each evening) I was kept informed of progress and any obstacles etc were soon overcome with options/solutions provided by Alan and the team. I’m delighted with the finished project and have received so many compliments on my new extension. There comes a time with projects like these when, as a householder, you just have to do your research then put your trust (and money) in the hands of your chosen building contractor., I’m so glad that I found Whyte’s Building Contractors and I would recommend., and definitely use., them again in a heartbeat..! Big thanks to Alan/Lewis and all the team..

Get in touchGreat builder - I can whole heartedly recommend David Symes. The project was an extensive garage rebuild with retaining wall. This entailed following detailed structural plans, steps, groundworks with a pitched roof and Velux – all of which was accomplished with huge skill, attention to detail and good humour. Unlike many other builders who jump from job- to- job David and Axe were on site, every day, all day, always ready to answer customer questions. This led to a stress-free build. I’ve had to give out his details to several neighbours who have been watching the project (which is the best recommendation of all!).
