Mitch and his team were efficient at building the retaining wall in my garden, working on a Saturday to get the job done. The work was completed to a very high standard. The wall had to be left slightly unfinished in order for other works to happen first, so Mitch promised to come back and finish off the wall at no additional cost later in the week. After some chasing, Mitch came back to finish the wall by himself the following Saturday. This was also completed to a high standard. We would highly recommend Mitch’s service for an efficient, high standard output.

In October 2018, I asked Michael to do a rear part single storey part double storey extension. Michael completed the job mid January 2019, which also included relaying the patio, fitting a pre-bought kitchen and building a new porch. Michael, Bill (the electrician) and the rest of the team have done an excellent job transforming our home into something so much more than it was. I was very impressed with his work ethic and his knowledge, and appreciated the advice he gave us which showed his experience. The electrician also was able to successfully rewire our home to bring up to the required standards and was willing to work on weekends to get the job done (that was partly our fault, sorry!). Any issues and disputes, of which there were very few mind you, were dealt with promptly and properly. All in all, if you're looking for a trustworthy, high quality builder in the Hitchin/Letchworth area then do get in touch with Michael. Thanks again for the excellent work! Jack and the team did a great job on our new kitchen including new electrics, tiles and underfloor heating and we’re truly delighted with the end result. Jack was always available to discuss the project and answer any questions or concerns I had and was able to quickly overcome issues we experienced relating to the kitchen units and a design error. He was always professional and gave us useful tips and input into the overall kitchen design and helped us source very nice materials. As with many small businesses, Jack and the team were juggling other jobs along side ours which meant that after some unexpected additional work on our floor, they were unable to complete the job within the original timeframe plus 2 days contingency. As a family with young children we found this really difficult so I would urge you to project manage closely. It was all totally worth it in the end though and overall I would recommend Jack and the team.

I was excited about working with Josh as he had such great feedback from other clients, and he did not disappoint. Excellent communication right from the off and very clear about what was involved, so was able to provide a detailed quote all of which made sense. He thought through what was needed in advance so there were no surprises or delays on the day. His price was reasonable although I’d have been happy to pay a bit over the odds for someone who didn’t mess me around, as has sadly so often been my experience in the past. He arrived on time to do the work, did it, cleaned up - and even did a few extra little jobs for me around the house (putting up shelves and a guitar hanger) while waiting for the paint to dry. A lovely guy, clearly skilled at what he does, and definitely someone I’ll be calling on again. Don’t hesitate to hire him!

We used Stuart to carry out some alterations to our kitchen, convert our garage & construct a link between the two. From the moment Stuart quoted us for the work I was struck by how diligent he was, coming back to discuss his quote & being very clear in everything he had included & equally anything that wasn't. We were delighted that his diligence & care extended throughout the project & to the work that he did, he clearly cared that everything was done correctly, as if it were his own home. He put thought into everything he did & the sequencing of the work, making sure there was as little disruption to us as was possible. He also communicated to us throughout about his plan and any issues he encountered. We are thrilled with the end result, Stuarts work is of a high standard & competitively priced too, I couldn't recommend him highly enough.
