I would highly recommend Dan Wright without hesitation. Dan was extremely helpful before my job started, suggesting solutions and messaging beforehand to ensure everything was on track. On site, Dan was hardworking and adaptable, another job came up while he was here which he negotiated there and then and added to his list, he worked efficiently and fast, advising along the way and nothing was too much trouble. If, like me, you are dubious of finding the right handyman, rest assured you really won't find anyone better, he even got my 17 year old son helping out which is saying something! 😁. You really won't regret appointing this guy!

We hired MMA to carry out the following to our home: Replace all fascia boards, soffits and guttering. Replace all windows and exterior doors. Single storey extension to rear with bi-fold doors and velux windows. Knock through old kitchen and dining room to make one large kitchen, this room was then knocked through into the extension. Chimney breast knocked out to house a range cooker. Old pantry blocked up and access to it moved to a new door way in the hall. Fitting of a new kitchen. Fitting of a new Utility room. Installation of a new combi-boiler. Retaining wall and patio in back garden. I can reccomend MMA to anyone as the quality of the work carried out was very high with great attention to detail. The small team of freindly guys were excellent and arrived on time every day at 8 am prompt. The whole process was painless and the quote we recieved was by far the most detailed and was very competitive. Overall we are very happy with the work and any changes we wanted to make were accomodated with no fuss - we got exactly what we wanted. I wont hesitate to contact MMA about any future work we plan to carry out.

I hired Jake, Brian and the team to carry out a single story kitchen extention. I had never undertaken such a large job and was somewhat overwhelmed and did not know what to expect. However, I was reassured by Jake and Brian on what to expect and what the works world entail. They took the project on and were in constant communications throughout the build. They organised building control inspections, kitchen fitters, electrical, plumbing, plastering, brick layers, the lot. I just had to sit back and see my dream kitchen come into fruition and boy it did! No job was too small, they made adjustments along the way and kept me informed of any issues and made me aware of anything that required extra work, we agreed to a price and they delivered. I am very happy with the outcome and any issues that came up later were dealt with promptly. I had some frustrations along the way(this wasn't jake's fault) but Jake took on the responsibility and rectified issues that were not his own. Its difficult to find a trustable and reliable builder these days but if you are reading this, please give Jake a shot, you will not be disappointed. I now have the kitchen I envisaged at a reasonable price and I couldn't be more happier. If you want a builder who is trusted, has an eye for detail and is always transparent... do yourself a favour and get in touch with J S Build & Renovate. Removal of existing conservatory and erection of single storey extension across the full width of back of the house . Including pitched roof with sky lights, patio doors and window to rear and side. Existing rear doors and walls were also removed. Throughout the build I was regularly consulted on progress, any issues were discussed and alternative products sourced ( roof windows) The work was completed to a very high standard, any delays down to weather issues were always discussed .every week I was aware of the plan of work for the following week. Mr Anderton was very professional and reliable throughout the build.
