Highly recommended! Friendly and professional, excellent price, very efficient, and top quality work. We had a leak coming through flat roof and Simon and his team immediately repaired it before replacing the roof with fibreglass as an upgrade from felt, and provided a long guarantee. Communication was great, work was completed quickly, without disruption, to an extremely high quality at a very reasonable cost, and left tidy afterwards. Re:- building brick gate post This job involved dismantling the original gate post and rebuilding it to widen the driveway entrance. Sam and Lee used the original bricks, which were cleaned up first to rebuild the post and the job was professionally done. They were friendly, polite, turned up on time and left the driveway in a very clean tidy condition, with all debris being removed by themselves. The build started in March and went well at first . When he first quoted for the job he told me they were a small family firm who did everything . This turned out to be untrue . They did not have an electrician and the plumber was very part time . It turned out to be very difficult for them to get an electrician and this caused many delays throughout the build. The firm is actually two people who have building experience and a number of trainees, on some occasions the trainees were left on site unsupervised and that is worrying .Many of the problems that came later were as a result of trainees being left unsupervised The builder does not listen to customers. I told him I did not want unsupervised trainees doing my plastering but I was ignored , the result is many areas of very poor uneven rough and pitted plastering , some plaster even came away from the wall , and in total 6 walls had to be completely re-plastered. The joke is the main builder claims to be a fully trained plasterer , if this is the quality he gives customers his standards are not high , there was no quality control , little supervision , no apology , no respect for my wishes. It took 3 months after he left site to get him to finish my underfloor heating , some guttering was also unfinished, what could have been a good job was spoilt by poor attention to detail that has cost me a lot of my time & hundreds of pounds to put right , also the stress and mess going back to redo previously finished rooms .Latest review:Extensions- - RoofCraft (n-wide) ltdExtension Builder in KnaresboroughRating: 5 out of 5Get in touch

Highly Recommended, Phil gave us a very detailed quote of the work involved and materials he was using, and along with Kyle replaced our garage roof, utility extension and porch canopy with a GRP fibreglass roof as well as new fascias . It was a complicated job. Phil was very professional and the job was completed without any disturbance to us. He also replaced a Velux window in our shower room and capped our roof perlins with upvc. He is a skilled craftsman and we were never in any doubt that we would be very satisfied with the end result. We had a number of quotes for the job and we opted for Roofcraft without any hesitation. A great job delivered by Andy and all the team. We found all the guys really helpful and a pleasure to have around during the time taken to build our extension. Chris over saw my ground floor renovation at my home. He was approachable, responsive and immensely helpful throughout. He was reassuring through all the inevitable minor problems that pop up through a large project and he had a great working relationship with his builder. He passed on discounts via his trade links and was able to suggest a variety of sources to get materials, fixtures and fittings. In a large build not everything goes smoothly and even when we did hit a few rough patches Chris remained responsive and reassuring. Overall I am very glad that he managed my project. Ian and his team were fantastic from start to finish. They came in with the cheapest quote but the standard of work was of top quality. We were so lucky to find a good builder who does as he says and never tried to rip us off with any hidden costs etc.., We had an upstairs extension built and a garage conversion which was all finished ON TIME (we have heard of builders who's jobs go over schedule by months - Ian told us from the start what day the job would be finished by and he was true to his word) Ian dealt with the building regulations people for us and everything was passed first time round.
