Re:- building brick gate post This job involved dismantling the original gate post and rebuilding it to widen the driveway entrance. Sam and Lee used the original bricks, which were cleaned up first to rebuild the post and the job was professionally done. They were friendly, polite, turned up on time and left the driveway in a very clean tidy condition, with all debris being removed by themselves. This was a bespoke, open porch built out of stone with a slate roof. The builders were only given a sketch to work from but planned a suitable approach, selecting suitable materials to ensure the structure blended in well with the existing structure. They were open to discussing variations on the initial designs and were very accommodating. They were easy to communicate with over text, email and phone and were always responsive. I genuinely felt listened to, understood and felt like the whole project was a collaboration. The result is very impressive and they even came back to retro-fit a stone house sign which I hadn't ordered in time. They didn't rush the job, nor did they look to cut corners despite the weather and illness setting the schedule back a few days. There were no unreasonable or hidden costs and they were competitively priced. They showed pride in their work and responded positively to feedback. Would readily consider them for future building work on my property.

Joe was very friendly and came and gave us a quote in January - we agreed to go ahead and were very disappointed that a week before he was due to start in April he stopped replying to any messages.
