I consider Schofield Carpentry to be a lucky find, thank you Simon. Simon repaired an external beam with extensive rot at my home. He cleaned out the rotten area and carved a heavy block of hard wood so that it fit the cavity perfectly and was also shaped on the outside to be in keeping with my Grade II listed cottage. It was a work of sculpture! Simon also identified some other areas of preventative maintenance and completed this work, for a very reasonable price. I'm very grateful.

Gary was good enough to take on a partially started job. The previous builder had disappeared and dissolved his company. Gary gave a good estimate, sorted out a number of issues from the previous builder, and got the job done. In short he gives a good quote, turns up when he says he will, is friendly and trustworth and does a good job. We are really pleased with the finished job. I would highly recommend him if you have any building work that needs doing.

Incredible guys with a great work ethic. No nonsense but plenty of good humour, respectful and courteous to the neighbours (starting and finishing at appropriate hours), but were always early in preparation for the day. Consummate professionals, and even better builders! My block and brickwork is perfect as is everything else- nothing is out of place and they were both flexible and amenable when we came across unforeseen problems under the ground. Already booking more work with them early next year, so get in fast, they are a popular local trader. My finished product will look better than the original plans.

Dion was simply fantastic. He responded to my ad super quick, arrived on time and came to my rescue in less than 24 hours. He was so polite and well mannered. Even when he needed to trim the bottoms of the doors for a second time, he took it in his stride. Top floor flat and really heavy doors. Wouldn’t hesitate in using Dion again.
