Called him a 2 days and the day before the start date and he still confirmed he could make it. He was meant to start on monday and he gave the usual builders excuse that he had a family emergency. He is a very proficient bricklayer. He came to my house and built pillars, brickwork, and screeding. He has very good general building skills and offered us some very good advice in inserting complicated steel beams. This alone saved us hours of work.
