Initially hired for professionalism and communication but that dwindled as the job progressed. Was told 4 week for completion, took nearly 14 with no apologies just an excuse of “delivery issues”. Workmanship is good and builders are pleasant and accommodating to have around your home. Price was competitive but not the cheapest we received

It’s going well and my thanks to Bob who has the “inn” over the party wall for allowing me access over his land . Can’t wait for it to be complete .

I think Anthony is best described as he and his staff take pride in their work. I had a new block-paved drive done. All way through he advised me on the best options and ideas I would not have thought of such as ensuring that any rainwater took the best path towards drains rather than merely ending up in the garden. Jeff and the lads did a really fantastic job for us on a quite complicated project. Jeff explained everything and was always available to answer any questions or reassure us throughout the build. On site the lads were friendly, polite, considerate and helpful and always tidied up after themselves at the end of the day. Jeff takes a pride in his work and has finished everything off to a very good standard. We love our new extension and can recommend Berkeley Building to anyone. We would certainly use them again.

Hi I'm a general builder and I've been in the trade around 20 years working alongside another sole trader. We're normally busy working on our own house builds and renovations but we are currently available due to a lengthy planning appeal which we are waiting on. The house I currently live in which is a grade 2 listed barn conversion is a good example of our work where we completed the groundworks, blockwork, random stone, first fix joinery, roofline plastics, plastering and kitchen fitting.

The job was a kitchen extension including brickwork, steel installation, plastering and kitchen fitting. Eric picked up this job from our previous builder who was very unreliable. When he started the work we had a 3 month old baby and the weather was starting to turn. The previous builders had left us with a huge hole in the side of the house. Eric took over and made the extension wind and water tight very quickly. He worked around our young family and ensured we had a working kitchen for as long as possible. He was reliable, friendly and professional throughout. His attention to detail was excellent. Eric helped us every step of the way and offered considerate suggestions. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect; for example he re-grouted the tiles in our bathroom to stop a leak from the shower when the leak was not connected to any work he had done. Eric helped us create our dream kitchen and it was an absolute pleasure to have work with us.
