Very poor experience, we employed Advance to build a 2 Storey extension unfortunately we had to terminate the contract of the company at first floor joist level due to consistent issues in regards to quality of build, not reading the drawings or spec leading to incorrect materials being used or sub standard materials for the project. Protection of property and general onsite cleanliness including leaving constant food and drink on our property. We had numerous issues with labour being onsite it was a build during winter that comes with its own problems however even good days were consistently missed with no communication from the management. We had to get numerous people out to review the build as it didn’t appear the onsite management understood the basic standards and requirement for the build. Finally after agreement and release of final pay the company refused to pay the scaffolding company for the works done on our property leaving ourselves with the further issue of scaffolding after we had paid. Whilst the company gave a cheap price it was just not worth the subsequent stress and issues caused by Advance construction and their poor onsite management.

absolutely fantastic service. the job was completed within in 2 days of the quote and to a high standard. did exactly what was requested and made sure all rubble was removed and cleared for me also, highly recommend as even finished off a couple of small bits which were not requested . Late review. Ste and the fellas built a wrap-around single storey extension for us in 2021. I can't recommend him highly enough. It wasn't the easiest build due to poor drawings we had from the architect, but Ste went above and beyond to make sure we had the extension that we wanted. Ste and the lads were positive, friendly and always had solutions to any challenges that came up. They also stuck to the original quote as much as possible, despite rising costs of materials at the time (2021). My wife and I worked from home for the entire build (about 4 months start to end), which wasn't ideal, but Ste and lads helped to make it work for us. 3 years on and we're well and truly settled and loving the extension. We're not sure that we'd ever want to go through a similar build again (at least not while living and working from home full time), but if we did then we would want Ste to do the job. 5 stars.
