We are so glad that we hired Paul and his team to build our extension. Everyone was so professional and friendly and tidied up at the end of each day, which kept our neighbours happy too as there was a skip and a portaloo on the pavement outside which were regularly emptied and cleaned during the project. As well as a lovely extension the plumber (another Paul!) made a superb job of upgrading our central heating system and at the same time we decided to go for it and have a new kitchen too. This involved taking down the ceiling and having new spotlights fitted before the ceiling was replaced, the whole room was replastered and then a fabulous kitchen was built to match the cupboards in the utility extension. This was fitted by the carpenter Rob who even constructed a cupboard to fit the ironing board into! The whole project took 11 weeks which was longer than anticipated but as we had added extra work to the original plan this could not be avoided. We are delighted with the finished result. It was expensive but worth it as the quality of the work is excellent and the build blends well with our original home. As the building inspector himself said - stunning!

Can’t speak high enough of this fella. The work he done is amazing and the standard is fantastic. Bit dubious using a website rather than a recommendation, however the price quoted was very reasonable and we went for it. Gareth built us an extension/sun room and the result is top draw. Not just a good tradesman but a really nice guy to go with it. Kept us informed throughout, gave us ideas on what would be beneficial or look aesthetically nice (from his experience). The result is beyond what we envisaged. Honestly, give Gareth a call, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Gar - we love it, the whole family love it, and the various neighbours that have been in to see love it!!!

AVOID RICHARD. DO NOT EVEN ASK HIM TO QUOTE. YOU WILL VERY LIKELY REGRET IT. I haven’t got enough space here to go into detail unfortunately. I have now had to get other people in to re do flat roofs that I had paid him for and have leaked since the day he installed them which has cost me thousands of pounds. I have had to get people in to complete the build because he stopped turning up early Feb and admitted he was doing other work. He has cost me a lot of money and has been paid to order materials which haven’t arrived some four months later. As others are completing his work we are finding more and more problems with his work. Richard has said he has been ill, but all these problems occurred well before that. He has a book of excuses. He refuses to answer his phone and will only communicate by text. When questioned on things, such as from where he allegedly ordered materials four months ago that have never arrived, he stops replying. I have tried to write out in more detail but I keep exceeding the word limit of the page, so all I can do is warn you not to deal with this person. He is unreliable, his workmanship is poor, he cuts corners and, he is in my opinion, completely dishonest. I have spent thousands rectifying and completing his work so far with more to come. He may respond to this with a load of excuses. Do not believe him. Do not trust him with your project. Do not trust him with your money.

Had a patio, decorative walls, 1.8m high boundary wall, (rendered with coping), greenhouse base, path sub-base, lawn edge and land drainage carried out. Sean turned up very soon after first contact and produced a quote within a week (even though it was over the Christmas break). Once the quote was agreed Sean turned up within a few weeks and has worked without interruption until complete. Didn't fail to turn up unless due to weather. They worked unsupervised and always did a solid days work. Always very polite and I can't find any faults with their work. Would definitely recommend him. In fact I already have to family, friends and colleagues. As a Building Surveyor I see lots of work of various standards and Sean is definitely one of the good ones.

Log cabin completed ! Really happy with the result . Spacious, practical and looks amazing. The roof shingles Ash put on are incredible . It is completely weathertight and it looks smart. The drainage is in and water is connected so it can be used all year around. So glad it is completed. Would have been sooner had it not been for the weather! Guttering and downpipes are perfect ! It is insulated correctly . Big thank you to Ash Dark carpentry !
