Chris and his team completed a large ground floor extension to our 1930s bungalow, along with internal modifications. Chris was reliable and kept us informed about the progress of the build at all times. He was polite, helpful, trustworthy and a tidy worker. Living on site during the build it was really important to have good people around and everyone Chris bought to site also did a great job. We are really pleased with the end result and would recommend Chris for any building works! Would happily use him again.

Do not employ this company. Overcharged for two hours work, forgot where we lived, failed to send promised details, samples and brochures. No invoices or Vat component only poorly written emails. We made a big mistake and have given up waiting for a partial refund.

Kitchen and back room knocked into one, with an extension added to the back with a laundry room. Patio area laid to the back. All ground works and build completed to a high standard. He project managed from start to finish. We added and changed bits as we went through the process and Darryl was always helpful and flexible to our requirements and changes. Always onsite when he said he would be and good communication throughout the project. Very hard worker. Great job done, thanks.

I feel compelled to write a raving review, having used many tradesmen in the past and been somewhat dissatisfied and disappointed due to incompetences followed up with ridiculous excuses. H.M.Brickwork have restored my faith in builders. The team of men were professional throughout, they took exceptional consideration for my garden when gaining access to the work site which is awkward at best. The team have the right mind set and attitude, they work cleanly and efficiently. I have no problem in recommending H. M. Brickwork. A Coombes, Loxfield House, Buxted.

An excellent job from start to finish. FORTIS were flexible with the garden design, created a new patio seating area and paths, improved the drainage, weeded horrendously overgrown shrub beds, levelled and returfed the lawn and created new flower beds. Also, while working on the garden, Peter and his team created me a new cloakroom from scratch, improved the storage and electrics in the garage and installed a fire door between the house and the garage. All this was achieved to a highly professional standard and I am delighted with the results. Peter is knowledgeable, adaptable and an excellent communicator. He and Sean were always where they said they would be, on time, and with a friendly laugh and a smile. Materials and other members of the team (electricians, gardeners, decorators, etc.) appeared when needed, as if by magic - so I know Peter's project management is good. I cannot recommend FORTIS C&M highly enough. Indeed I've already asked them to quote for three more jobs! I must remember to get in more biscuits though, eh Sean?!
