Hello My name is Darin Hey and I have been in the building industry for 24 years . Did a 4 year carpentry apprenticeship in New Zealand and have national qualifications. I have worked on New builds and alterations to houses for most part of my building journey . But can do most aspects of building , no job is to big or to small. I had my own business back in NZ with 9 staff building high end homes . I moved to the UK ( as my dad was born here ) 2.5 years ago with my wife and 2 kids and am looking at starting my own business again . I am an NVQ level 2 qualified bricklayer with over 16 years of experience in the trade (6 years labouring and 10 years on the tools laying) my knowledge and skill of the trade is impeccable. The first 10 years of my carrier was spent on large housing and building sites gaining experience and knowledge required to undertake my own projects and I am currently working on domestic extentions to an exceptional standard. I have my own van with all the tools to undertake any bricklaying job required and I am willing to travel for work. Adaptable, conscientious and enthusiastic bricklayer who is hard working and motivated with a passion for the industry. Motivated, confident, keen to learn and with strong attention to detail as well as having excellent inter-personal skills.
