While the business itself is newly established, the experience behind it comes from many years working with a well-established landscaping company. For the past 20 years, I worked as a hands-on foreman, leading projects from start to finish and working on site every day across St Albans, Harpenden and surrounding areas. During that time, I was involved in all aspects of landscaping, including patios, driveways, fencing, decking, pergolas, turfing, planting and full garden transformations. When the company decided to step away from landscaping for a few years, it felt like the right time to take the skills, pride and experience I’d built up and start my own business. I’m now proud to be running Stone & Green Landscapes, supported by another highly experienced landscaper I’ve worked closely with for many years. Between us, we bring over 40 years of combined experience, covering everything from paving and patios through to timber structures, fencing and detailed finishing work. I was brought up in the St Albans area, attended Beaumont School and St Michael’s, and know the area inside out. This community is close to my heart, and that local knowledge and pride show in every job we take on — whether it’s a small patio, new fencing, a garden refresh or a complete landscaping project.
