Cannot compliment Will enough. He came today to demolish our shed. He only wanted a coffee then set about doing the job. Came at 2pm and finished 4.30 ish Between the heavy showers he worked like a trojan. I saw a previous negative review and can't believe it's the same company to be honest. Anyway we can't compliment Will enough, if you need any job done then give him a chance you won't be sorry. Polite. Considerate and lovely.

After 13 years and 16 jobs on here, this is my first negative review. But I would avoid at all costs for large projects, due to their lack of communication and organisational skills. If you do proceed, I’d suggest: - Confirm in writing they’ve read and understood all the plans and have no questions or concerns about anything. - Confirm that cost overruns will be communicated weekly, with a breakdown of the costs. - Confirm the builders on site will have been given the actual plans for the work being done. - Confirm terms will be agreed up-front and will not change them weekly. - Arrange payments on milestones met and not time elapsed. Confirm additional work will only proceed when agreed in writing in advance. - Require weekly f2f meetings with the owner at end of play on Fridays to assess progress and surface any issues, concerns or questions. - Confirm who will be leading the project on-site. - Confirm that if huge overages will be presented with an itemised breakdown.

Oli made good the folly..... ...of my previous builder who walked off the job with no explanation and a hefty deposit for materials. After being let down royally by someone I thought I could trust, I had to contract a new tradesman to do the essential plastering and repair work that was left. Oli of J West & Son was that tradesman. I now have some pretty good plastered walls ready for painting, and some new coving in place of ragged holes. All should pass muster for viewings now thanks to someone reliable. Oli and Jordan, once again thanks for a lifesaving service.
