I am a carpenter who specialises in kitchen, bedroom and bathroom fitting. From CAD drawings to the fitting, I can do this all for you. I am able to fabricate corian and fit a kitchens and bathrooms to personal specifications, within this I am able to do plumbing, tiling, flooring and 1st and 2nd fix. I am also able to make bespoke items depending on the clients requirements.
Darren was not necessarily the cheapest quote but he performs to a high standard. He has done several small jobs and also fiited our new kitchen and wardrobes. At the outset and during the work he consulted with us to ensure we got the best result. There was a major problem early in the job while we were away. Rather tgan wait for us to come back he found and costed a solution immediately then offered us the options. On top of that he is a great bloke to have working in your house and takes pride in his work. My name is Nick Thomas, and I am a fully qualified carpenter, joiner and boatbuilder with 15 years experience. I also have plenty of experience in interior and exterior carpentry, shop fitting and decorating. In my spare time, I build surf boards and paddle boards.
Nick’s workmanship, work ethic, honesty in quoting and general approach and attitude is excellent. Scope: x2 built in wardrobes, new handrail, new landing bannisters, several general carpentry jobs (eg, airing cupboard shelving slats, adjusting holes in kitchen cupboards to access pipes & gas meter) From his first contact and visiting us to discuss the works, to his initial estimate followed by detailed quote, and then into the work itself he was utterly professional, highly courteous and very accommodating of our needs and the short timescale we had available. Nick presented proposed materials and intentions of approach to the works to us before works commenced, enabling us to make some changes. He arrived on time everyday, worked non-stop all day (only taking 15minutes for lunch!), cleaned up after himself every day and remained cheerful throughout the job despite my wife and I also working in the house in his way and needing to use the bedrooms he was working in every night, which meant he couldn’t leave his tools out at night. We completely trusted Nick such that we left a key with him to finish the works over a weekend whilst we were away and he again completed the job and cleaned up impeccably in our absence. During the job I asked Nick to add a few extra items on to the scope (at our cost obviously), which he readily accommodated.
