David is as unrealisable as the British weather. Took my Job since the 16th of January and asked for 2 months to complete ongoing work. Carried on taking other jobs with better pay and kept postponing again and again and have postponed yet again until July and he’s not even sure. I’m not sure while he is in the trade or takes a job but readily dumps it and postpone endlessly when he gets a better gig elsewhere. That is highly irresponsible for a grown man and he brings disgrace to the profession and other hard working people that we had to decline when we chose him. He rushed to the property took measurements and gave a quote which we accepted since January and then never shows up. My extension is now nearly finished and I couldn't be happier with Paul's work - every aspect of it has been fantastic. He and his workers are always reliably on time and he lets me know when anything changes. Paul is a real problem solver and he has always been able to explain everything, to adapt as needed, to listen to my requests and to offer helpful advice. The quality of his work is second to none; he is conscientious, considerate and very hard-working. Everything is cleared away every day which is a real bonus, and left clean and tidy. The project has run more or less to time, with the only delays caused by an absent plumber. I've been so pleased with the results so far that I have also employed Paul to refurbish my kitchen, which he is doing now. Paul has also been working on landscaping my garden (re-shape garden, new patio, retaining walls and steps) which is looking wonderful. Paul has very efficiently project-managed the whole thing: the skip, the loads and loads of waste coming from the garden, multiple deliveries of supplies, all in a fairly small space. I'm really happy with the results so far. Before the work started, Paul gave me a previous customer's contact details so I could go and see the work he had done for them and get their wholehearted recommendations too, which was really useful.
