Neil completed this garage conversion into living area in 3 1/2 weeks of hard and regular work - brilliant! His quote was not quite the cheapest but, unlike others, was detailed and transparent. He consulted us on every aspect as the work progressed and thankfully ensured dust, dirt and inconvenience was kept to a minimum. He booked and worked in harmony with other contractors which resulted in the timely completion of the job. Neil proved to be reliable, conscientious, and trustworthy - my wife and I would have not worries of leaving him and his team alone in our house to proceed with the work. In fact to sum up, a great guy, hard working, capable in all building aspects, and I would have no hesitation recommending him as an excellent builder in any property.

Based on architect recommendation, we contracted Alain on a private basis to produce structural engineering designs for our home renovation. He undertook a site visit and then produced structural designs to support a large number of elements related to new support beams, lintels etc. These have been iterated with the architect and the process has been very smooth. He was very responsive and nice to interact with. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend as a structural engineer for the type of project we undertook (loft conversion, new pitched roof, new openings within walls and ground floor open plan conversion)

LGC Decorators completed the re-decoration throughout my 5 bedroom property. The guys were on time and very reliable. I didn't have any issue with their time-keeping. They did their best to keep the place clean and tidy ensuring to clear up after themselves. If you're looking for a building firm you can rely on through thick and thin, then look no further. We engaged MMP to knock through both a kitchen/dining room - removing two chimney breasts - and an outer wall to install bi-fold doors, in an old Victorian house we had recently moved into. Andrew came to quote and was courteous, knowledgeable and described the schedule of works clearly. Unfortunately, after works began, structural issues that were not pointed out in the survey arose, that required immediate remedial work for our original works continued. I feel that many small building firms would have washed their hands of the project a this point, but Andrew diligently suggested Structural engineers, liaised with the local Borough Council building control, and even helped pen letters to the surveyor asking for recompense for their faulty Homebuyers survey. Obviously, due to this, the project took longer than we had originally envisaged, but Andrew and his team were often at our house late into the evening, tidying up after a long day of work. The building works were completed last week, and we're thrilled with the result. The new doors look great and, even before the new plaster is painted, we're really happy with how our new room looks. Every day of works, I'd get an email from Andrew, listing the works carried out, any problems that had arisen, and many photos of the progress. If you want piece of mind that you're not getting cowboys, give MMP a call!
