Job started off well, and I do have an extension built, but after a while getting Chris on site for consecutive days was a nightmare, he took on other jobs elsewhere rather than sticking to what he started, quoted 6 weeks for the work, 9 months later there are still items not finished off and I doubt I will ever see him again to complete them, the overall job is average as now have a number of snagging issues, electrics failed, plastering job is awful really rough finish in parts whereby the walls and ceiling is rippled, lead flashing not fitted properly with gap at sides which could attract rodents into property, fascia not completed, window sealant not installed fully. I asked him to quote for other works in my property but after this experience I had told him I would be going elsewhere with these. When hiring a builder I would expect reliability something which I didn’t have with Chris, obviously not suited for bigger jobs. I’m left having to get other electricians And roofers in to fix snagging issues even though Chris was fully paid for completing this job, I honestly could not recommend him for bigger jobs as I felt he became unreliable and jumped onto different items rather than taking the time to finish what he started and now I am having to pay extra money to fix these items rather than having to chase someone who was unreliable. A lot of lessons learnt on this occasion. I have left this feedback as neutral as i do have the room that I wanted but with snagging.

Chris is just amazing! From the day he came to quote through to completing the initial work we advertised, he has been great - very polite and he actively listens to what the job is and provides good discussion on options/best solutions, if you're not entirely sure. He is a very conscientious and methodical workman and one who leaves a job tidy afterwards, which is getting more rare, unfortunately. Chris completed such an excellent job on fitting the doors and frames initially advertised, that we are also currently using him to lay floors (which I can also confirm look fantastic 😃), building a fence and fitting fascia/guttering, to name a few. He is very competitive in his quotes and extremely reliable and we can totally recommend him.

Emergency repair on a flat roof. Got Chris' name from a friend. He came to my house after completing his own work and spent a few hours in the darkness sussing out the problem. When he came off the roof, he saw I was working to put an electric shower in bathroom. He asked if I needed help doing it and had the new shower fitted in minutes. A very pleasant, easy going guy, I have no problems in recommending his work and pleasant demeanour.

Jim and his team carried out a remodel of our house in Belfast, we live in California so it was a bit more challenging. They created an open floor plan, found many original features that they helped us save. Not only did they do an amazing job on the house they did it with the attitude to help us in anyway they could. They took late meetings with us due to the time change and even when the job was done I am still in contact when I need anything and they are eager to help. After they did the inside remodel we recently had them do the backyard , they installed a new deck which looks amazing. We also have plans for the future that include more work from this amazing team. We highly recommend them to anyone in need of updating their home. Thanks Again for everything!

Spoke and messaged Mark several times and he confirmed the quote and work, advised on his availability and agreed when he would come. Didn’t arrive when he advised, hasn’t responded to any messages or calls for us to know if he was planning to come or not . Unless there’s been a genuine emergency or reason it’s very poor communication and has let us down. Seems unusual given the positive previous feedback. This was our first experience of using my builder and don’t think I would do so again.
