It was obvious that he had a vast knowledge of log burners and was able to offer lots of advice before we finalised the stove I wanted. He was able to book a slot in his timetable the week after his quote and turned up exactly as arranged. He worked quickly and efficiently with his apprentice and had completed approx 90% of the work on day 1. The following day he returned to complete the job which only took another few hours. My new fire was commissioned and it was ready for use. Ben is someone who takes real pride in his work and who has the experience and credentials which underscore his craft. He was also able to cut slate on site which provided a lovely finish to the fireplace. After speaking with several installers before choosing BC Plumbing & Heating I have been so impressed by Ben’s honest, straightforward approach!

Cured a damp problem by removing and replacing bricks in the outside wall and carried out extensive repointing work. He has altered the drainage for a toilet and relocated the manhole. Dug out, extended and concreted driveway, and built new garden wall. Replaced cracked roof tiles. Altered brickwork and fitted new lintel in fireplace to house a new gas fire. I found Mark Davies always worked in a professional manner. He was polite, approachable and reliable and above all, a first class tradesman.
