Alan fitted a restored marble fire surround for us around an existing log burner. Jimmy gave me what I considered to be a great estimate to remove a fireplace and hearth and then replaster the chimney breast. The job turned out to be far more complicated than anticipated but Jimmy did a fantastic job. He carried out hours of extra work repairing the laminate floor and a couple of other additional small jobs. When it came to payment, Jimmy asked for his original quoted price and I had to press him to take a few quid extra. Punctual and cheerful, Jimmy's skill set as a builder is vast and in addition his advice on the the most cost effective solutions was brilliant. Peter carried out the job quickly and effeciently, first of all determimg the best pipe run to cause least inconvenience, then installing this in double quick time. The gas hob was fitted with a similar attention to detail and was occomplished completely withn a short time frame.
