After we have gone home it's still the place you have to eat and sleep, so it needs to be respected so. It needs to be as clean and tidy as possible !, so you can still function as a family safely. Many jobs we have been appointed over the years have come from prospective clients noticing how tidy the outside looks ! Tidy, neatly stacked skips, materials maintained neatly and covered over.
