Although I'm relatively young at 20, I've got 3 years of full time work experience with a loft conversion company, which covers 1st and 2nd fix. As of the past few months I’ve been attending collage to solidify and prove my skills to get the official grade. I've got a consistent form of transportation so i can be quite versatile when it comes to jobs, but Cardiff is the main area i would work in. My strongest skills would be 2nd fix for example doors, skirting and architrave, but I'm confident in my 1st fix ability as well. The only job I wouldn’t feel confident in is fitting kitchens because i don't have the sufficient experience or equipment for the job. Although I’m young and don’t have the same level of experience as other carpenters, I make sure to put the utmost care in my work and take pride in the work i do. Im diligent, hardworking and keen to when it comes to working. It might take me longer than usual to finish a job but thats because i want it to be done to the best of my ability.
