I have worked in the construction industry for over 20 years and specifically in woodworking for over 17 years. After completing a two year City&Guilds qualification in furniture making and installation I have worked for joinery and building companies covering all aspects of woodworking, both as an employee and on a self-employed basis. I particularly enjoy 2nd fix work as that requires the most detailed work and is satisfying, but I am equally at home doing 1st fix work. During that time I was able to train up an apprentice and pass on the knowledge and skills I have gained over the years.
