Lee, I thought was a genuine, kind and helpful man. It’s disappointing that it all went wrong. Firstly hired Lee to fix the floor boards in the master bedroom prior to a new carpet being laid as we were refurbishing the bedroom. Hired Lee, he communicated well & came at his earliest convenience. After a good start it didn’t last very long. Lee whilst being unaware had drilled through the water pipe. I could hear water gushing out as I was sat downstairs in room beneath. I made him aware & he didn’t know none the wiser. He removed the floor board when asked & he had made clean hole right through the pipe. Lee repaired it with this tape & he reassured me it would do the job and it wouldn’t leak. Cut a long story short it was unfortunate that the water pressure gauge was faulty & I was unable to repressure the tank. Within the next few days the carpet was laid & the pressure gauge lever was fixed. I re-pressurised the tank for only the worst to happen! I heard water gushing out. You can just imagine what I was feeling. Straight away I called Lee, no answer and left a voicemail & text. This happened on 10/01/19 & still from this day he’s failed to return my call. I immediately took the carpet up and removed the floorboard, only to find water spilling through the tape. I hired a professional plumber who thankfully came within the hour to repair it & he could not believe his eyes. Lee had repaired the pipe with PTFE tape. Cowboy! I’ve learnt from this. Be cautious everyone.

We received several quotations for the landscaping of our rear garden, Groundworks quote was competitive and after having met Donaldo we felt comfortable they could do the job. Donaldo and his team were reliable, professional, well organised and considerate of our neighbours throughout. Donaldo maintained good communications when issues arose or aspects of the landscape design needed our input to ensure the finished outcome was to our requirements or liking. The works were complete within the timeframe agreed and to the standard we desired. I would have no trouble recommending Groundwork’s or appointing them for similar work again.

Dean did a great job stripping out shower and utility rooms. He blocked up external and internal doors and made new doorways. Door frames were installed and doors hung. All spot on. Good communication, he was tidy, polite and finished on schedule. Thanks and recommended.
