After being dragged around stone pits and helping my father with his stone work for as long as I can remember I developed a real love and passion for stone and stone work in 2009 I was highly awarded in the stone Federation awards for my stone work on Norwich Cathedral judges comments were a complete understanding of natural stone work . I have my own stone saws and scaffold and come as a complete package .Period houses are a interest of mine and stone work is my passion .
Tristan and his brother are highly experienced in Stonemasonry. A huge amount of cement was removed and stones were replaced and repointed with lime stone mortar in the walls of our house. When we wanted another bit of work done on the back of our house Tristan came back on a Saturday so that next client would not be delayed. Tristan is a very good communicator and we are delighted with the result of his work. We will use this firm again for any future stonemasonry work. Highly recommend

Neil converted the interior of an old brick outhouse for me into a storeroom for my garden materials. He is careful in his work, didn't rush and did a high quality job. After receiving estimate for works to be completed and offering the job to them, they have an estimated date around the end of August 2023. Since then I have had no replies to messages, email and texts regards the work being carried out. Very poor. Came to check out job properly and quoted good price. Was unsure as he is young but gave him a chance and he Carried work out a few days later while I was working. I couldn't be more happy with the porch that Dave & James built for me. I have a character property and had a very specific idea of what I wanted and they got it spot on. They were extremely sympathetic to the original cottage and my new addition looks like it has been there forever. I decided to go with an Oak front door which James fitted and it's perfect. I was very pleased to see both Dave and James turn up each morning before I headed off for work so that we could have a catch up. I really, really appreciated this gesture. The work was completed on time as promised. I will most definitely be using David James Construction in the future with the landscaping of my front garden being the next project.
