I received a quote and accepted it. We had a problem with the originally planned date and Nathan said he'd let us know a new date in a few days. We've not heard a word for 2 weeks and Nathan refuses to answer texts or phone calls. Highly unprofessional and disappointing! I've decided to hire tools and do the job myself as I can't wait any longer.

They left no mess as tidied as they went and I am over the moon with my log burner it's so much better than what I had pictured in my mind. I would hire jays builders again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic work by Jeff! Punctual, considerate, clean and tidy with great communication. Jeff was so helpful in providing suggestions and advice for door hanging and architrave replacing, on some difficult frames. Amazing job, showing great attention to detail. Also delighted with the new boiler cupboard and radiator cover he made, amazing finish, exactly what I asked for! I highly recommend Jeff and will be using him again for any future jobs!

Terry made and fitted new garage doors and a garden door for me, as well as replacing rotten roof joists in garage and shed and making the garage dry for the first time in years. He also willingly undertook other minor maintenance tasks, so I now have doors and windows that open and close in wet weather! Thank you for the work and good communication, Terry. Neil totally transformed my conservatory, which had been neglected for years by the previous owner. The whole room was in bad repair. In particular, the wooden window frames and door had a lot of rotten wood and all the paintwork was peeling badly. Thanks to Neil, I now have a lovely, bright room to enjoy. It was a difficult job, in very hot weather. Neil works hard and prices his jobs fairly. Highly recommended.
