The work was satisfactory but I paid for more materials than I needed & trying to get the receipt for them so I could get a refund was like getting blood from a stone. Impossible. Originally had a concrete walkway, down a set of steps to a concrete square patio area with a grassed area that sloped away to the back fence. The whole area was unusable and left dead, unused space around the side of the building too. Through conversations with Alex, we came up with a plan which involved new decking where the concrete walkway was, round into the unused dead space, making a lovely area to sit and have BBQs. Alex then levelled the garden and moved the patio area to the other side, making the whole garden feel bigger. After the work was completed we spent the majority of the summer in our garden and feel it was the best thing we have done. Highly recommend Alex. He listens to what you want, but is also practical on what that means is needed to accomplish the task, highlighting cost implications, as well as practical build issues. It was really easy to work with him to design our dream garden. As a bonus, he is really easy to get one with, reliable and trustworthy. Would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.Latest review:

Fully public liability insured. Portfolio picture include my current work but not limited to fencing, cladding, re roofing using cedar shingles, laying gravel driveways and building bespoke sheds and shelters. I recently spent time designing and building children's playcentres which is why they are on my portfolio. This included building raised decking and bespoke shed based playhouses.
