Philip did a fantastic job fitting our doorframe and hanging the door for us. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He made sure to check everything was to our liking as he went through the various tasks required rather than just assuming which was highly appreciated. The finished product was exactly what we had hoped for with nothing overlooked and with immaculate attention to detail. You could tell he really cared about the finished product which is hard to find these days. We will be using him again for any future jobs and recommending him to friends and family.

Terry is absolutely amazing in every way. We have a holiday chalet in Cornwall and asked him if he would replace the existing floor tiles to the whole chalet and replace the bathroom. We are astounded at the quality of his work, he stripped the floor back to the joists for us as we knew there were issues with the floor which was not level and we now have a sound and perfectly level floor. He was also so careful with our property and cleaned up after each day. He also recommended the fixtures and fittings for the bathroom which we are delighted with. We have since had him back to replace all the internal doors with FD30 doors and door frames and once again we are delighted with his work. Our mother also has a holiday chalet and he has also replaced her bathroom and fitted new doors and frames to comply with the new fire regulations and she is also absolutely amazed at his work. We have booked him in for more jobs at the end of the 2024 season. Cant recommend him highly enough.

They were hired to rectify the subpar work of a previous contractor. The previous builder had installed a pocket door system but failed to include any doors or construct the system properly. However, C. Oakes and Sons confidently assured us they could assist in installing the four pocket doors despite these issues. They successfully installed all four doors and sourced parts to create doorstops, as none had been incorporated into the system. We were very pleased with their work and will definitely engage their services again in the future.

Delighted with the job Jay has done. He built us a second toilet downstairs for an elderly disabled relative. He went above and beyond and the finish was fabulous and on our budget. After asking us a few questions he thought of everything we may need. He just got on with the job quietly and left the area clean and tidy each day. Jay was very friendly and trustworthy and I wouldn’t hesitate in calling on his services again. Excellent!!
