This job was bigger than originally anticipated by me. Because of the make of the toilet, it involved taking the toilet up in order to fit the toilet seat. Mr Monks just got on with the job and was very pleasant to deal with. He completed the job perfectly and I am very pleased with the final result. The charge was to my satisfaction. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

He was always very friendly, polite and considerate and has done an excellent job in my bathroom which everyone admires and for which he charged a very fair price. Arrived over an hour late to quote, heard nothing from these guys and then over 3 weeks layer, sent a message asking for email address to send the quote. I told him he had my mobile and coykd he sebd it there after various excuses, the quote arrived, more than double the next highest quote. I was then asked if they could come back to measure up! When I said they had all the measurements, I'm told that he's mislaid them but yet they had given an extortionate quote already. I asked for a breakdown if the quote so I could see where the money was being spent and now after more than 4 weeks from coming to look at the job, I have not received the breakdown and communication has now ceased. I feel I have been completely messed around by these guys and would not recommend them. I have no idea what standard their work is but if the lead up is anything yo go by, steer clear

Avoid him…. Not sure he’s actually qualified. Had a leak for several days after fitting radiator, he came back to fix and had to call him a third time as still leaking. Radiator still not working to this day. Ruined my newly plastered walls 😔

I’ve renovated 4 houses so far. I can tile, small plaster jobs, decorate, paint, put stud walls up, hang doors, build dwarf walls, fit kitchens and bathrooms, water plumbing, change lights, sockets etc. So I guess snagging would be the best to start with

Really pleased with all the work John did for me. Lots of odd jobs around the house - sorting damp issue, painting, drilling, levelling paving stones. If you’re looking for a plumber or bathroom fitter, you really need to speak to Jay at CC Plumbing. He fitted a downstairs toilet for me, including the stud wall, plastering, painting, radiator, plumbing and outside drainage. The work was done to a VERY high standard, the price was fair, and the finished room looks brilliant. Jay turns up when he says he will, gets on with the job, gives great advice and ideas, and actually cares about getting it right, which already puts him ahead of 99% of the tradesmen in Britain.
