Tom completed the install of a small, half finished Ikea kitchen, which two tradesmen before him couldn't/wouldn't do and at short notice. It is all in good working order today, and I'm especially pleased with the intergrated dishwasher door he installed, as with a new baby, having a dishwasher for the first time is so useful! I really like our Ikea Kitchen but if you live in Hull, be prepared to find it hard to get a tradesman to install it for you! Before Tom it was such a stress but he was polite and professional. We did ask for a quote for providing and installing a fence and doing some pointing for our back yard after this but after an email reminder request to Tom, I did not hear back. Not sure if Tom didn't want the job, was too busy, or what but we are still looking for someone to help install a new fence a couple of months on.

I used to work for a plumbing and heating company for 5 years so i have a lot of experience with working in domestic property's maintenance/renovations. overall i have been in the industry for 6+ years, I may not have been in the industry as long of others but i have been taken on board by 12+ year experienced engineers so without a doubt i can problem solve and complete jobs professionally. outside of my plumbing and heating work i run my own agency for client's within the tiling, joinery and a couple more trades to connect my customers with fully qualified, covered, fair pricing companies for any other job they need completing thats out of my realm. with the luck of my opportunity at learning hands on and on the inside of a trade company from a young age i have a clear understandability That the customer's satisfactions have to always be met no matter the size of the job. Ben responded immediately and suggested that he come and have a look before we order the parts that we assumed had stopped working. Ben came to have a look and realised that the issue was quite simply fixed, saving us a lot of money in the process. Ben’s communication throughout was excellent and he was prompt, polite and friendly. More importantly he fixed the problem within 10 minutes of arriving at our home. We would highly recommend Ben to anyone requiring any plumbing work.

What is there to be said other than I wish I'd gone with someone else! After almost 9 weeks of extremely poor communication, regularly turning up late or in several instances not at all and then not bothering to come back at all without offering any explanation, my bathroom is still not finished and my downstairs cloakroom is just an empty room still in need of tiling and the suite installing. When he did turn up he would regularly leave after a couple of hours with an excuse of having to fetch something or other and then not returning The work he did do was generally of average quality with not much clearing up of the workspace afterwards, he did not have much in way protection of my carpets and I have to have them cleaned to remove some deep stains. All in all I cannot under any circumstances recommend him to anyone and will certainly not be having him back in my home to undertake any future work I may need doing.
