Full rebuild of a Victorian mews home, including full front elevation, building an extra floor and all associated planning. Chris from Sand Architects was professional from the start, and brought really innovative ideas to the table. He doesn’t come across as your stereotypical architect, but more like talking with a friend who shares your vision. He then goes away and creates designs that are true to what you want, whilst pushing the boat out in ways you gladly take on board. He prepared plans that went through planning successfully, even with the plans going to committee. He helped me create my vision, whilst offering suggestions to both ease construction and create a home for the rest of my life. Outsourcing the process to him was the best decision I made in this project as he kept on top of it, was great with comms, and kept pushing it through planning which took that headache away from me. Needless to say, I’d recommend their services to anyone. Especially if you’re looking for something slightly quirky, but keeping within planning regulations. I was hesitant to hire an architect for this project, but I am very glad I did, and I’m especially happy I hired him.

I needed architectural drawings for my project. Mark stated that he could get them done for me within a week or so, and delivered on his promise. He visited the site to meet myself and the builder, so he could understand the building, then guided us through what we needed to do for compliance. He then produced an impressive set of drawings. I chose Mark because of his experience with holiday lodges, and because of the afore mentioned prompt service delivery which I needed. He was easy and helpful to communicate with and I thoroughly recommend him.
