Not Impressed and felt very let down! Everything started ok, with the drawings being submitted and his fee being slightly reduced if I paid cash but once we were informed that the application was going to be recommended for refusal, a few emails were forwarded from David but he became impossible to contact, so after two weeks of trying I was left to deal with the planning officer myself, which did not go well.

Unfortunately Mr Wilson did not send me all the plans paid for, planning noticed the missing one and he then refused to send it unless I left feedback. I think this was planned to get the feedback and he wants me to lie so he can dupe other people. So I am £700 down and having to find another architect as he also hasn’t provided the builders plans paid for. He was very blatant in his emails, he knows he owes me the plans but is stating he refuses to discuss until I have left the feedback. I don’t think this is his real job/company as there is no trace of this on the internet. My builder also not overly interested as were meant to call today but haven’t. What a shame as until he tried blackmailing me I was fairly happy.

Jonathan did a great job for us and we were very pleased with all aspects of his work. He is friendly and easy to talk to, which aids the design process. Jonathan gave us all the time we needed and came back to see us to talk about the initial plans and make some amendments. Jonathan was knowledgeable about the practical considerations of the build process and was able to advise about what was possible based on his previous experience. The plans were ready within the agreed timescales; the plans were subsequently submitted and approved for planning permission. Joanthan managed the application process and updates to the plans for conditions. We would definitely recommend him.

Speechless with the end result. We are delighted with our new home as we started the process with no ideas of what design would work for this new build rear extension and single side storey extension but with design discussions and workshop after many cup of teas and watching a few rugby games !! finally got the design that allow for a planning application to be approved. when our family and friends visit they are speechless with the quality of the finishes and design of our new home .ie (glass roof and oak beams) . Very pleased with Bob's work - he came to our flat to fix an anchor to our wall, which required drilling and fitting the anchor. Bob was very communicative throughout the process, and was able to come out and complete the job very quickly once we had got in touch with him. I was particularly impressed with how quickly Bob understood what needed to be done when I explained the job to him, as although it was a small job, it needed someone who could do it properly, and Bob clearly has good experience of handyman/building type work. Bob's price was very reasonable indeed, and we would not hesitate to recommend him. Would definitely use him again.
