I'm a designer and property developer by trade, bringing old disused houses back to life is my main goal. I have a portfolio of rental properties that have been fully refurbished by myself, from the initial rip out of the existing building fabric, to assisting electricians with re-wires, building partition walls, installing windows, installing new floors, plasterboarding walls and ceilings, painting and decorating, installing kitchens and bathrooms. I also went travelling for almost 2 years where I worked doing property maintenance works for people local to where we were at that time and also labouring for construction & plumbing firms. All my properties have been done to a high standard with photo evidence of the work available and I am now able to also offer my construction and design skills to other people. Previously from a financial background, I crossed over to architecture in 2003. I have worked for various surveying & architectural companies within the residential, commercial, industrial & government sectors. Working with private homeowners allows an intimate, proactive relationship, understanding the requirements & vision for their project. I have over 30 years' experience within Architecture and have worked throughout the UK on a wide variety of projects from inception to completion supporting my clients throughout their development. Initially I work with the client to get their ideas and desires into drawings which I then develop into either Planning drawings, or Working drawings for Building Regulation approval and costing depending what stage the project is at. I especially love working within the residential sector as one of my degrees is Interior Design and I feel this area gives me the opportunity to incorporate more of these skills. I also have a special interest in historic buildings and have undertaken numerous projects on historic buildings, some listed and within conservation areas. One project was the conversion and alterations to a grade 2 listed town house for which I won a LABC building excellence award. Completed my level 3 NVQ in carpentry and joinery in 2001. Worked for a medium sized high end Joinery company before hing self employed in 2017. Completed my level 3 NVQ in AutoCad in 2021. Very knowledgeable and skilled in most aspects of carpentry and joinery from the design stage to the fitting and finishing.

I'm based in Exeter, Devon. Architectural technologist and designer. I design and prepare planning applications and building regulations packages. All my work has been approved by the authorities (planning or building control) and whenever there is a problem I work alongside the client and planners until it is solved and everyone is happy with the results. I offer all services in relation to the design from concept to supervising the construction work. This will include: 1-Building the 3D modelling of the property (this will help you to visualise the design/ internal spaces). 2-Design options for you to decide from. 3- Preparing the final drawings and documents.
