I have been in the construction industry for over 20 years and have gained experience in a vast array of projects in both domestic and commercial schemes. I have been a building control surveyor for around 19 years and have worked in both the public and private sectors with 15 years in Local Authority Building Control and 4 years with a private building control body. This has allowed me to gain a vast amount of knowledge of the construction industry on a wide range of projects in both domestic and commercial areas. I have extensive onsite experience and enjoy working with people including clients, contractors and any other parties involved in the project i am dealing with. I also have my own architectural design business. This started off working for my Fathers company and producing plans and working drawings for domestic style projects but i have now taken this a stage further. I have trained myself in CAD and now work on a variety of schemes across the whole of south Wales and English borders. I am happy to travel to possible projects and provide initial advice on both the planning and building control aspects of a projects before the client has to make any final decisions.
