Tony was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. He came out to assess the staircase and advised that he would be able to provide a more accurate quote if he could see the area better as there was a plasterboard wall in the way. Tony allowed us to do as much of the work as we wanted and were able to do and therefore brought down the price in relation to this. Tony did not mind providing 3 different quotes - full oak, oak and pine spindles and full pine, to enable us to make a well informed decision that suited our budget. Alterations in design were accommodated to our preferences which is really refreshing compared to other tradespeople we have encountered who have been a little rigid with their approach and do not often offer alternatives to help add that personal touch to our home. Tony arrived promptly, completed the work to a impeccable standard and also offered valuable advice on the aftercare of the oak. He even tidied up after himself - I swear he left it tidier than when he arrived! We are over the moon with our beautiful staircase that now has tinsel and lights twinkling between the spindles - a perfect centrepiece to our home. Also recently started small extensions projects, project managed and organised from start to finish. Landscaping projects such as decking, sleepers and slabbing.
I would highly recommend Pete, he has done a brilliant job, building the stud wall, insulated and plasters it bringing warmth into what was a cold bedroom. It was always cold and damp which was why it always closed off with a curtain up at the door. Now it is warm. We didn’t even know he was here, he just carried on with the job he had to do which is perfect, we can already feel the difference.
