I hate to give Boyd 3/5 stars as the work he did was excellent. However his communication was abysmal. After initially telling me it would be a couple of days, I kept messaging him for an update but was met with silence. Then he has the audacity to message me every day after he sent the invoice asking for payment. (Which I paid in a couple of days after making my point) Boyd you would be good to remember “Under promise and over deliver”

Now thye have declined to start workk and the Directors are going for Voluntary Liquidation after taking away millions. MyBuilder should have vetted the company before putting on their site

AVOID this company! They contacted me on MyBuilder offering to do the job. I accepted their quote and explained clearly that the work had to be done on Tuesday, 25th March. After accepting their quote, they stopped responding. I had to chase them multiple times via phone, text, and MyBuilder messages. Eventually, they got back to me and delayed the job to Wednesday 26th March. On Wednesday morning, I had to chase them again to confirm they were coming — because by now, they already seemed unreliable. Their reply: “I am not 100% sure, my van has an issue at the moment and can’t drive it…” Since then, they’ve ignored my three messages and three phone calls. No contact. No apology. No effort to reschedule. Just silence. They were fully aware that this job had a strict deadline and they’ve completely screwed me over. 100% time-waster - totally unprofessional and completely disrespectful of people’s time. Don’t let them mess you around — avoid this company.

They did an overall good job, tidy and clean. The taller one was more professional for sure but they made a miscalculation with a wall, the shorter one kept arguing saying that he did the job right despite his own measuring showing it was wrong, had to show him the text from my architect that detailed the measurements and even still he argued, the taller one mediated and agreed that they were wrong so they did rectify the issue.

Kyle and Cliff arrived promptly to do a small but awkward job of repointing the chimney. They did an excellent job and were very good value. They are also friendly people who point things out that you will inevitably miss, without the hard sell. They were also tidy and considerate. I would not hesitate to use their services again. In fact, they are quoting for more work !
