I have recently decided to take the jump and work for myself as a sole trader, I have been a supervising joiner at a company before hand for 2 years. I started learning my trade at a very young age and picked up many other useful things along the way such as tiling, plastering and even small amounts of plumbing. I have completed many jobs off the record for friends and family throughout the years from small jobs such as fitting doors/skirting board, to installing many bathrooms and kitchens, but to do this in school hours is what I’ll be taking on and I cannot wait! I’ll always put 100% in my work and make sure before a job is finished that the client (maybe yourself) is completely satisfied. The big question is “would I accept it in my own home?”

I have been in the window industry for 40 years now, starting as a fabricator in a manufacturing company to having my own company. Unfortunately after Covid my company had to close since then I’ve been surveying and fitting windows, doors and conservatory’s,we also have added Garden Rooms to our portfolio, and have installed budget rooms right through to rooms with toilet facilities for extra sleeping accommodation.I can see these really becoming an asset to any household as they can have that many uses.My business partner also has the same experience as myself and we take total pride in our work be it a single window or a £30000 garden room.
