I consider Schofield Carpentry to be a lucky find, thank you Simon. Simon repaired an external beam with extensive rot at my home. He cleaned out the rotten area and carved a heavy block of hard wood so that it fit the cavity perfectly and was also shaped on the outside to be in keeping with my Grade II listed cottage. It was a work of sculpture! Simon also identified some other areas of preventative maintenance and completed this work, for a very reasonable price. I'm very grateful.

Excellent work, would highly recommend Gwyn. A lovely person who will listen to yours ideas and what you need done and then organise and do it. No hesitation to recommend him 100%. After fitting the kitchen he did more work (walk in Wardrobe) and boxing in which was of the very highest standard. Flexible with other tradesmen and always turned up on time. I am hoping he is free to do more jobs for me.

Phill was excellent. He is highly experienced with the whole range of trades needed to fit out a kitchen and took the original worktop installation forwards to complete the full kitchen job for me. He was flexible and pleasant to work with and offered much useful advice about the installation which I hadn't thought of and where I would otherwise have needed help from a designer. The job was all done to high standards giving the kitchen a far higher quality feel than I had imagined.

John Malek's assessment of the problem and the work he carried out was excellent. He was punctual, polite and efficient and his charge was very reasonable and fair, since it was only a small job (another builder had quoted £350 for the same job!). I thoroughly recommend his services and will not hesitate to ask him to do anything else that might crop up. He tells me he is a plumber also, and that is useful to know.
