I am 53 years old and have 25 years experience in tiling. I passed my City in Guilds carpentry and joinery in 1992 . Over the years I have learnt how to tile ,plaster and can lay LVT flooring. I have my own van and all tools relevant for the skills I have and I also have public liability insurance too carry all of these skills. I am happy to travel around the West Yorkshire area too work. I have worked mainly in domestic environments for 25 years dealing face to face with customers in their own homes. I am very clean and tidy and always sheet up or put down roll and stroll too protect the customers carpets and flooring. I do pride myself on the standard of my work and like too liase with customers throughout a job too over maximum satisfaction.

I am a good, honest and experienced worker, who produces work to a very high standard. What I Do --------------------------------- Extensions, refurbishments, driveways, drainage, brickwork (arches and bullseyes a speciality). Stonework, creative patterned concrete, roof carcassing, floor and wall tiling etc. Work History --------------------------------- I started working in construction as an apprentice bricklayer, serving a 5 year apprenticeship including night school and day release. I worked on numerous and varied contracts, ie. housing, hospitals, schools, warehouses, universities, sports centres, the list goes on. I built my own house in 1988 which i still live in, I worked as a site manager for 10 years, both in construction and civil engineering. Works included: nursing homes in Leeds and Glasgow, Harrods (Knightsbridge), New Manshop, escalators, lift shafts and l;ifts, civil engineering underpinning, concrete works. Royal Albert Hall, South Steps project, JCUK new offices at Smithfield, residential flats at Tower Bridge and Nottingham. Since then i have started working as a small building contractor doing general building works and employ one skilled labourer on a full time basis. I can increase my work force in all trades, depending on my work load. I am available for work in May, through June to the middle of July at present.
