Shaun came when he said he would to give us a quote. Although in work clothed he and his van were well presented. Work started on time. Sam and Brandon who came to do the work were very polite and friendly and very presentable. They were very diligent in their work and hardly took a break. All 3 were more than happy to answer our numerous questions throughout the job and to reasure us that we would not have any more problems with the roof. Sam even came back the day after completion to sort a couple of bits on our ceiling where plaster and popped off where screw heads had been proud and the knocking on the roof had just popped a bit of plaster off. Very clean and tidy workers who also did a good job of cleaning up and removing all rubbish. Were very happy with their work which has been completed to our satisfaction. Really happy with the end result. You can really tell when you're in the attic bedroom how much warmer it is, which is a big indicator of the job that has been done. Russ fully replaced the roof and restored it using new slates where needed. This ended up being far more than was quoted for but the price was held, which I do appreciate. I've given 5 stars because of the end result. If I had one gripe it would be the mess that was left at the end outside the house, which I did have to clean up. I believe this was the scaffolders rather than Russ but it is just a warning to be careful who you contract out to mate as that does ultimately reflect on you. However, he did come out to collect the rubbish and left rubble that I had tidied as soon as he found out. A really friendly person who has done a job I'm happy with, so for overall work I would recommend.

Avoid this roofer if you value professionalism, reliability, or courtesy. We hired him for a small job, installing lead work and fixing a ridge tile, but it was a disaster. He repeatedly failed to show up without any communication, offering excuses and broken promises. When he finally arrived a week late, he caused significant damage, breaking 14 tiles - far more than the team who originally installed the roof. Despite promising to repair the damage, he failed to return for another week, offering excuses. When he finally did, he insulted our property, mocked the roofs quality and dismissed his responsibility. His exact words included "Slates are on the scaff with the silicone. Yous can do it. The roof is a joke" He even suggested we "Keep the money for the lead work" as if that compensated for his negligence. This roofers unprofessionalism, lack of accountability and disrespect for our time and property were appalling. Avoid him at all costs if you want reliable, quality work.
