The guys have now been back out to review some of the work and are happy to rectify the small issues and advised on different route to take and fingers crossed this can alleviate the water penetration. Thank you Darren. We hired the company to do a couple of jobs, roof edge and guttering. The guttering was done pretty quickly, within a week, however we noticed that the original flow had not been followed, we highlighted this to the team, but nothing was forthcoming. The roof took awhile to start, some 16 weeks after accepting the quote. The team came in and did the edge line within a day and the following day rendered. Again we noticed a massive flaw in the way the ridge tiles had been left and had to get them back out to rectify this. The good weather helped once the work started to replace failed membrane under the lower section of the roof and around one Velux window. They turned up with good quality materials & I stressed I needed the correct fall on the roofs & was given assurance there would be no standing water on the finished job. They cut about 2 feet off both the main roof down pipes, which They never replaced. The both roofs are now leaking very badly down the inside walls. I asked a local builder to have a look at them, and he said he had never seen such a poor job. He also said the lead flashing was not fitted correctly. The standing water is about a Quarter of both roofs. I have tried to contact Mr Lewis by email & both his landline & mobile, left messages but no reply. I am now considering asking The council building inspector to advise. I hope my builder can help.Latest review:Roofing (Flat)-- Get in touchGood job on the roof job but damaged our property. Has made repeated broken promises to return and fix the damage but never did, and now won’t reply to messages. Wouldn’t use again.
