Here’s the updated review: Kenny and Terry did a great job from start to finish. Communication was clear throughout, and their work was thorough and carried out to a high standard. Proper old-school roofers who take pride in what they do. The job involved replacing three roof windows with VELUX units, one of which was a substantial 1.4m x 1.3m and weighing 94kg. so it was no straightforward task. They handled it without any fuss. I did have a small issue with the alignment of one window after the job, but Kenny came out the next day and sorted it straight away. I will be recommending Merit roofing going forward!

John is a very pleasant, courteous and excellent tradesman. He arrived on time and fully explained what he would be doing prior to starting the works. A good tradesman should always provide protection to the areas that the works were being carried out in or around, John certainly did so without asking. The works were completed within the time frame that John estimated, he also pointed out some other minor works that required attention. John carried out these additional items without charging any extra money to do so. On completion John provided photographs of the works he had undertaken for record purposes. When completed the areas where the works had been carried out were nicely tidied up and left clean as if nothing had been done. I would have no hesitation in recommending John as a first class roofing contractor, some one who takes pride and extra care in providing a first class service to his clients. We will certainly call upon John's services should we need any further roofing works carried out in the future.

Let us down with building extension. Started the job ok then failed to show for the job most days and continually asked for money up front as he didn't have accounts with company's. He eventually didn't come back at all after saying he had to sack all his team leaving us with half finished build which was not even water tight. Disappointing after a good quote
