Dean arrived at agreed time to complete the survey. He explained the repair required and quoted a fair amount for the same. Once agreed, the job was completed on agreed date in a good time. The team left the property clean once the job was completed. Later, Dean sent all the pictures, both before the repairs was done and also once the job was completed. Time will tell if the job has been done to a high standard. Felt the tradesman took advantage of the situation with the cost of the job. He, also, moved the goalposts when it came to paying him. This roofer is so unreliable and takes customer as cash cow. He has attempted twice to resolve the leak which wasn't resolved. On his first attempt, he patched a small section of the the lead flashing with a silicone sealant but failed. He then recommended to remove the entire flashing and reseal it which I did agree as I didn't want any further damage. This second attempt failed and leak still persisted. I have sent messages but he is not very responsive and was l was left hanging for some months. I sent him several pictures for him to see the leak and he never came back to check his work. I didn't appreciate as well that he carried the work whilst not at home. We have arranged for a date for him to carry over the work but for some reason he just turned up whilst I was not at home and carried the work. I have sent him messages recently and have no intentions to check his work but says he is going to quote me another attempt to resolve it.
