Absolutely outstanding job from start to finish, I am a very happy customer! From the moment the job was booked in Brian was fantastic. Unfortunately, the work was a lot more involved than first anticipated but Brian kept me informed throughout the process, even saving me money where he could. The finished work (albeit a few finishing off jobs) is of an excellent standard and my house looks great. Brian of Commscot is a hidden gem on this site – professional, friendly, helpful and communicative throughout – I really couldn’t ask for more! If you’re anything like me and read reviews meticulously before hiring in tradesmen then you really need look no further. I did read one or two negative reviews as well as the many positive ones about Brian – what absolute rubbish some people write! I would hire him again in an instant!

Adrian was originally asked to convert our downstairs into an open plan living space. This turned out to be an extension and complete downstairs remodel. Adrian, Sam and Ed were enthusiastic, professional, friendly and approachable. Their problem solving skills are great and they have exceeded our expectations. The quality of their work is great and attention to detail is spot on. Their approach to working in the pandemic was very reassuring. They only began the project when lockdown was lifted and it was safe to do so. They respected social distancing and cleanliness. I highly recommend Adrian and his team. I will most definitely have them back for any future work we want done

A nightmare! They were employed to do all the work i.e. plastering, boarding, knocking out one wall, fitting bathroom suite, kitchen, re-wire, plumbing central heating etc. Glenn was supposed to project manage, which he didn't. Plasterer made a terrible mess on my floorboards throughout; he left plaster all over the picture rails & skirting boards & finish around the edges was horrendous. In bathroom plastered over window frame. Plumbing - done by an apprentice and was not checked, so we had to call them back numerous times. He worked in phases and after each phase he asked for payment. When we were not happy he made us feel that we were making a fuss and we paid up because he promised that anything we were not happy with would be corrected at the end. We had supporting beams put under the lounge to support the floor, of which were not done by a builder; hence they were not supporting anything, so had to call them back and even then the job was done by an all-rounder and not a builder. I could go on and on as we had a long list in the end but had to give up after so many times of them coming back as their standard of work was not professional. The only thing in his favour was that they came back to correct several things when asked but the standard was poor. I would advise not to employ anyone until you have seen the standard of work and don’t assume that if the feedback is good on small jobs that they are capable of doing the big jobs.

What a great job every little detail superb and to the highest quality. Ash is friendly polite, neat and tidy and planned the project superbly. He is a perfectionist and we cannot state highly enough on how pleased we are with the quality of the work. He is everything a great tradesman/craftsman should be. An absolute pleasure to have employed him to undertake the paneling and boxing work. Left fully prepared for decoration. There was a bit of plumbing that needed sorting out to fit the panelling and he planned this in and his brother in law came bang on time and also undertook a great clean job. Lovely fellas!
