Would definitely recommend and use again. Glen fixed up our wood decking. It was all splintered so he sanded it all for us and protected & sealed it with a clear varnish. We are very happy with the results and the price for all the work it took. It is a grooved decking and Glen gave great attention to detail to get the job completed to a high quality. Drew and his team were spot on. Very solution oriented, very high quality of work always positive to get the job done. Some small issues were always communicated, talked about and found a solution for. Very detailed, goes extra mile to make sure everything is done correctly, properly fitted and working correctly. We chose John over the other tradesmen as we could see his clear passion for stonemasonry and wealth of knowledge in this particular craft. We had bought a 200 year old sandstone farmhouse that was concrete rendered and riddled with damp. Our project was more complicated than we first anticipated, we needed further structural work before rendering. John loyally ensured that the job was done properly and thoroughly by providing us expert advice, planning the restoration and providing us reassurance. Even when the weather was against him, and at Leadburn it was often a wash out, he turned up every day and did as much as he could, making sure that the project kept moving despite the elements. The extreme weather impacted the length of time that it took to complete, however we remained confident that the work has been done to perfection and it has been well worth the extra time. We have a wall that will now brave the elements each winter and be standing for many more years to come! Thank you John for your honest work and dedication- it's the most beautiful wall now thanks to you! We can highly recommend John and will definitely be calling on him in the future for more work. Craig is an absolute master at what he does and we are delighted with our full living room renovation, it looks first class. He brought our idea to life with suggestions along the way, including things we hadn’t even thought of. I picked Craig because of his fantastic reviews and I can now happily add to them. I would absolutely recommend Craig and wouldn’t look to anyone else now. As other reviews have stated he’s a friendly professional guy and if you are lucky you will hear him whistle (and sing) while he works. Shout out to Davey too for the brilliant electrical work.

I cannot begin to express how brilliant John and his team are. I hired John to lay floors and build a unit. We live in an old property with several issues. John put me in touch with a plaster specialist, a plumber and an electrician to cover the extra work. This helped us cover all our bases with our renovation. The quality of work from everyone was outstanding . I recommend John and his team so highly, I can’t show all the work but the flooring , skirting and unit he built bring me joy every time I walk into my beautiful new office space .
