I also enjoy diy and cover a wide range of handyman type of work.
Ian and his co-worker Andy did an excellent job and had the wall completed in a couple of days. I was always consulted on any preferential design or amendments to the work being carried out. Absolutely delighted with Matthew . It was very easy dealing with him ,we both kept each other updated on any issues relating to the new walls . He is a first class bricklayer, and his work is superb. Any further jobs that I may require a bricklayer, I’ll phone Matthew. I would recommend him 100% to anyone wishing the services of an excellent tradesmen . Work carried out quickly, matter of weeks from quoting for job to it being complete. Sandy and his colleagues are really nice, helpful, hardworking, prepared to go the extra mile and helpful on how to complete problems that arose on site...even suggested putting an extra window in, which we did and was a really good idea and made a room much brighter. On the build some contractors and trades were good to work with, other were problematic, I'd rate Sandy as the best person to deal with as he was really nice and helpful and completed the work to a high standard, quickly to a fair price. Fantastic work- quick response to first message, showed up on time every day, is definitely a perfectionist and tidied up well every day. He never turned up, after my first phone call to him rang and eventually went to answer machine so I left a message. After that the phone went to instant answer machine. No reply came. Then I thought that maybe I had the day wrong and it might be the next day so I left an apology by text and on his answer machine in case that was correct. So I waited in the next day and he never turned up or answered his phone or sent me a text. Yesterday I waited again on the off chance but no show!! After waiting in the house these 3 days I thought we could have got someone else to do the job while the weather has been perfect. Just a week wasted waiting about. It wouldn't have been so bad if he had made a courtesy call just to let me know he wasn't able to or didnt want to do the job and I could have had the guy that is now going to do it 7 days earlier!!Latest review:Bricklaying-

Mark from Arkadia Property Maintenance carried out a first class job at my house in building a new supporting wall and replacing a timber fence. He quoted a very reasonable price to carry out the work in 4 days which he did through some terrible weather on one of the days. He is a very hard and tidy worker and I would not hesitate in recommending Mark to others. It should be noted that two of my neighbours approached Mark to have work done for them also.
